Conversations in the car with Dad X)
Dad: Oh crap! I haven't bought the New Year Cake yet and tomorrow' New Year's Eve!
Me: Huh?
Dad: Yeah. I need to get the Japanese New Year Cake (This has been a tradition since I bought home Japanese New Year Cake when I was in Japan the other time)
Me: Well, there are a lot at Orchard. You can go there after work tomorrow right?
Dad: Nah. I hate going to Orchard on Saturdays.
Me: Then-
Dad: Oh! I'll go to Liang Court (its a shopping mall full of Japanese things and usually, mostly dominated by Japanese) then. But there will be a lot of Japanese there since they celebrate New Year's Day...
Me: Yeah, that's why.
Dad: But it's on the way home from work so I guess I'll pop by there and get the cake, and maybe try that ramen shop too.
Me: OI!
